“Nigeria: EU to Spend 6.6 Billion Naira on Immunization” Africa News Service (allafrica.com) (06/05/03)
A new program from the European Commission will focus on immunization in six states in Nigeria. The European Union is spending about 6.6 billion naira (44 million euros) on the initiative, known as the “Partnership to Reinforce Immunization Efficiency,” or PRIME. The funds will be used to reduce the burden of vaccine-preventable diseases in Nigeria.
