Avant Achieves Milestones in Anthrax Vaccine
Development
Avant Immunotherapies has received two
additional subcontracts for vaccine development. One of the subcontracts is for
$344,000, for stability testing of DynPort's injectable anthrax vaccine, while
the other subcontract is for $1.3 million, to begin pre-clinical animal testing
of Avant's oral vaccine against anthrax and plague. Testing of DynPort's
anthrax vaccine will begin the first phase in October.
