“Chickenpox Injections Drive Urged” Macarthur Chronicle (Australia)(06/03/03)
In Australia, Macarthur Division of General Practice program manager Sue Donohoe is urging parents to get their children vaccinated against chickenpox following reports of chickenpox outbreaks in other parts of the country. The disease is highly contagious and can produce illness in children for up to three weeks. The vaccine costs about A$60 through general practitioners.
