• Ohio City Adopts Landmark Law to Stop Spraying for West Nile Virus (7/14/03) Lyndhurst, Ohio passed an ordinance prohibiting the spraying of pesticides "in an effort to help control the spread of the West Nile virus."
• Judge Denies Preliminary Injunction to Ban Wood Preservative (6/26/03) Expecting the denial, the legal battle to ban the heavy-duty wood preservatives continues through the lengthier second part of the legal process.
   
• Bush Administration Considers Human Testing of Pesticides (5/20/03) EPA announced that it is considering allowing human studies to support the registration of pesticides. Public comment period open until August 5, 2003.
• Safer Schools: Achieving a Healthy School Environment (4/17/03) New report documents 27 school districts and schools in 19 states successfully implementing an IPM program.
