Inoculating Over 300,000 Children Against
Measles
Hosaena, July 11, 2003 (WIC)-
The Kenbata Tembaro Health Desk says it has commenced an
immunization campaign to protect more than 300,000
children against the possible out break of measles in
the drought affected woredas of the zone.
Family Health Care Expert with the
Desk Laliso Wamisho told Walta that the vaccination
campaign would be administered in 233 centers
established in Angacha, Kachabira, Omosheleko and
Kedidagamela woredas of the zone for the next seven
days.
He said the children between the
ages of six months and 14 years will also be provided
with Vitamin "A" capsules.
