HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE: IT’S A SYMPTOM, NOT A DISEASE, STUPID!
In short, there is no evidence whatsoever that lowering blood
pressure has any effect on coronary heart disease….After all, how
could a high blood pressure make atherosclerotic plaques form? Well,
you can create a convoluted argument involving endothelial damage,
but you would struggle to create a clear-cut case….
