"ID Biomedical Gets Subcontract From Dynport Vaccine"
Dow Jones Newswire (www.djnewswires.com) (01/15/03); McKinnon, Judy
ID Biomedical has been subcontracted by Dynport Vaccine to clone, express, and produce a second-generation subunit plague vaccine. The pneumonic form of the plague, which is caused by Yersinia pestis bacteria, is highly contagious and there currently is no licensed vaccine against it. The majority of the project should be completed this year, ID Biomedical said.
