"Health Authorities Begin Meningococcal Vaccine Program" Australian Associated Press (AAP) (aap.com.au)
Health officials in South Australia (SA) launched this week a vaccination campaign against group C meningococcal disease. SA Health Minister Lea Stevens said they hope to vaccinate approximately 200,000 children during the four-year effort. Children between the ages of one year and five years and between 15 years and 19 years will be targeted this year, while children between the ages of six years and 14 years will be targeted from 2004 to 2006.
