"FDA OKs Antex Biologics' Investigational NDA"

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Antex Biologics' Investigational New Drug Application for its Helivax vaccine to prevent and treat infections caused by Helicobacter pylori. Antex said it can now begin patient enrollment in two Phase II clinical trials that will assess the vaccine's preventative and therapeutic properties. A total of 80 patients throughout the United States will participate in the trials.
