Brenda Smith
Myles, Ph.D. is an associate professor in the Department of Special
Education at the University of Kansas, where she co-directs a graduate
program in Asperger Syndrome and autism. Dr. Myles speaks
internationally and is the author of over 100 books and articles on
autism and Asperger Syndrome including Asperger Syndrome and Difficult
Moments: Practical Solutions for Tantrums, Rage and Meltdowns and
Asperger Syndrome and Adolescence: Practical Solutions for School
Success.
Dennis Debbaudt is
a licensed private investigator in Florida. Since 1991, he has been
active in researching and reporting on the interactions between law
enforcement professionals and children and adults who have autism. As a
reporter, Debbaudt has had bylines in the Detroit News, Detroit Free
Press and has consulted to ABC News 20/20 among other print and
broadcast media organizations. He is also the dad of a young man who has
autism.

levels
- Develop social,
academic and behavioral interventions to facilitate school success

strategies to handle crises and stabilization
- Identify school
resource officer issues
