"Anti-Polio Drive"

During a three-day polio vaccination campaign that was set to start on Jan. 28, health officials in Pakistan will target 4.2 million children under the age of five years, according to North West Frontier Province minister for health Inayatullah Khan. Thousands of mobile vaccination teams will assist the effort. As a result of previous vaccination campaigns, polio cases have been significantly reduced in the province, Khan said. He urged parliamentarians, local government representatives, and the media to take part in raising awareness about both the polio vaccine and the campaign.
