Rep. Waxman Introduces Smallpox Vaccination and
Compensation Act
Rep. Waxman today introduced legislation to provide
compensation for health care workers and others injured by the smallpox vaccine.
The legislation also includes provisions to assist state efforts against
smallpox and to protect health care workers and their employers during the
vaccination campaign.
