"PowderJect Receives Canadian Approval for Cholera, Travel Vaccine, Dukoral" AFX News (www.afxpress.com) (02/25/03)

PowderJect Pharmaceuticals' cholera and travelers' diarrhea vaccine, Dukoral, has received regulatory approval from Canada.  The drinkable vaccine, which protects against diarrhea caused by Vibrio cholerae and enterotoxigenic E. coli (ETEC), has been approved in 18 countries; it is still awaiting approval from European regulators.  PowderJect CEO Paul Drayson points out that Dukoral is the only vaccine that can protect travelers against both cholera and ETEC.
