Economic Times of India (www.economictimes.com) (02/07/03); Anand, MS
Indian Immunologicals' rabies combination vaccine was confirmed unique by the International Search Report, which will lead to the company filing for patents in all countries that have signed the Patent Co-operative Treaty. The vaccine, developed in conjunction with the Indian Institute of Science, contains DNA and low doses of cell culture vaccine for treating rabies. It is currently in its third phase of clinical testing. The new product will cost less than similar products already on the market.
