THE HIV VACCINE DOES NOT WORK ON ANYONE, PERIOD!

I told you so. I told you so in the scientific literature. I told you so on the internet. I told you that an HIV vaccine would never work.

This week, the long-awaited results from an independent trial of the world’s best hope for stopping AIDS with a vaccine have shown it to be a failure, disaster, catastrophe, folly, gigantic waste of human effort, time, and money. You would think it’s over. You also know that it’s not.

Why is it that when the space shuttle blows up, all further operations are suspended until an investigation can uncover the problem? Now that HIV, Inc., has blown up, the US government will likely increase funding. Did I miss something here? Hello, is anyone in Congress willing to do their damn job? Try this for starters: Halt all public funding for HIV research and hold an investigation.

I was not surprised to read in stories by those who call themselves medical reporters that the HIV vaccine might have worked for blacks and asians, even though it was ineffective in white people. They swallowed the HIV, Inc., spin hook, line, and sinker. The HIV vaccine data for minorities was compiled, according to a New York Times article, from 498 people. The difference between the vaccine and placebo groups was 5 HIV-infected people — FIVE PEOPLE (12 "infected" out of 327 in the vaccine group and 17 of 171 in the placebo group). A ton of money showed a rate-of-infection difference of 5 people. The HIV vaccine does not work on anybody. Period.

It’s time to chase this scientific sham HIV Establishment out of science and government funding agencies, and bring back honest debate. I propose that we shut down all government-funded HIV research for a minimum of 2 years. Next, an authoritative, non-governmental body — a kind of Special Prosecutor’s Office - must be assembled to organize the data about AIDS, the disease — not HIV, not HIV/AIDS, but the acquired immune deficiency syndrome itself. I strongly believe that by organizing all the data into two piles — one that contains facts and one that contains articles of faith -- the answers to many of our questions about AIDS, the disease, will be revealed.
