"Flu Spray on Way"

MedImmune's FluMist vaccine is safe and efficacious for people between the ages of five years and 49 years, says an FDA advisory committee.  The company hopes to acquire more efficacy data on people between the age of 50 years and 64 years.  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention influenza epidemiologist Dr. Keiji Fukuda says that the inhaled FluMist will be particularly advantageous for people who do not like receiving injections.
