"CDC Committee Votes to Add Pediarix to Vaccines Program"

GlaxoSmithKline announced Thursday that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has decided to include its Pediarix vaccine in the agency's Vaccines for Children program. The objective of the program is help children whose parents cannot afford to buy vaccines. The combination vaccine protects against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, and polio.
