Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director Dr. Julie Gerberding warned at a Senate health hearing Tuesday that the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome is a sign of the deadly diseases that will plague the world in the future.  Gerberding said that preparedness for the unexpected is essential, because the next disease could be more dangerous.  At the hearing of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, Sen.
