"Ethiopia: MOH to Vaccinate 2 Million Children Against Measles"

As many as 2 million children living in drought-affected areas of Ethiopia are the targets of a new measles vaccination campaign in Ethiopia. The vaccine will be administered to children between the ages of six months and 14 years in Bale zone in Oromia region, Shinile zone in Somali region, the Gurage and Silti zones in Southern Nations and Nationalities Peoples Region. Funding for the measles vaccination campaign is coming from the U.S. Agency for International Development, Japan, the Netherlands, the World Health Organization, and UNICEF.
