"Inoculation Warning Call Over Q-Fever"
Sunday Mail (Australia) (www.thesundaymail.com.au) P. 35
Australian sheep and cattle workers are being warned about contracting Q-fever from infected animals. Symptoms of the infection resemble the flu, with body aches lasting two to six weeks, recurring bouts of exhaustion, and dehydration. Subsidized immunizations against Q-fever are available for paid farm workers and family members over the age of 14 who are also working on the farm.
